Leigh Williamson has been practicing accounting for publicly held and private organizations for over 25 years. After earning her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University in 2000, she began working at the Trump casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Leigh held several finance positions during the 12 years she was there including Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager. Leigh then worked as the Controller of one of the largest boat dealerships on the East Coast serving several locations in both New Jersey and Maryland. After 9 years, Leigh was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the dealership’s management company. In this role, Leigh managed the accounting departments of the boat dealership as well as 2 construction companies located in New Jersey & Texas, commercial property management of over 40 partnerships, and real estate development across these companies. Leigh started Williamson Bookkeeping Service to give small businesses access to accounting expertise without the expense of employing an accountant.
